Quizás debería haber esperado a que se cumpliese un aniversario más redondo, como hice cuando se cumplieron cuarenta años del fallecimiento de RANDY RHOADS, pero cualquier momento es bueno para recordar al bueno de CHUCK, y más en el vigesimosegundo aniversario de su también temprana marcha, así que aquí dejo este pequeño homenaje. Ya habrá otros.
No hace falta decir mucho más, puesto que ya hablé bastante sobre él en TOP 10 GUITARRISTAS, por lo que esto es todo. Me queda cierta rabia por no haber estado más atento cuando aún estaba vivo, pero sobre todo la música que contribuyó a crear junto con sus muchos compañeros de DEATH y CONTROL DENIED, entre otros proyectos.
Y el recuerdo de una persona muy querida, positiva y llena de talento.
Nunca cambies, allá donde estés.

Maybe I should have waited until a better rounded anniversary had arrived, as I did when the fourtieth anniversary of RANDY RHOADS passing took place, but any given time is fine to remember good old CHUCK, specially when today marks the twenty second anniversay of his also untimely demise. This is why I'll leave this little tribute here. There will be time for more.
There's not much else left to say, because I already talked about him on TOP 10 GUITAR PLAYERS, so this is all. I'm left with some anger towards myself for not having paid more attention to him and his music while he was still alive, but what's left, mostly, is the amazing music he helped creating together with his many mates in DEATH and CONTROL DENIED, among others.
And the memory of a talented, loved and positive person.
May you never pull the plug on what you are, wherever you are.
