VEINTE MIL VISITAS

Me llevó unos cuarenta y cuatro meses llegar a las diez mil visitas, una vez que este blog fue estrenado (la primera publicación data de mediados de Marzo de 2021), y sólo me ha costado unos dieciséis más acumular otras diez mil, lo que me parece bastante poco en comparación. Poco más de un tercio de lo que tardaron en llegar las primeras diez mil. Tuve que publicar setenta y tres entradas para poder celebrar ese primer hito y ahora, para el segundo, sólo he necesitado cuarenta y nueve, si estoy en lo correcto.

Ambos datos me suenan muy bien, y quiero creer que, o bien ahora hay más gente que lee lo que escribo, o que lo lee más a menudo. O quizás ambas cosas, ya que no tengo muy claro la manera en la que las visitas suman.

TWENTY THOUSAND VISITS

It took me like forty four months to reach ten thousand visits, once this blog began its own story (the first entry dates from mid March, 2021), and it has only taken me another sixteen to add ten thousand more, which feels a short time in comparison. Little more than just a third of all the time I needed to reach the first ten thousand. Seventy three entries posted, in order to achieve that first milestone, against these last forty nine with the second, if I'm not mistaken.

Both stats sound very good to me, and I just want to believe that there are either more people now reading what I write, or they just happen to read it more often. Or maybe both, for I'm not sure how the visits count works.
